Allegations and rumors have been spreading since last week when musician Mesach Ssemakula introduced actress Evelyn Namulondo’s son Hero Ssemakula as one of his children. This was during his just concluded concert dubbed Mesach @ 46 staged at Kampala Serena Hotel on Friday 19 May 2023.
In a television interview, Ssemakula thanked his supporters for turning up in large numbers and apologized for things that didn’t turn out right. He then cleared the air on rumors that he is the father of actress Namulondo’s son.
“Ssemakula is a very good friend to my son Shadrack to the extent that even during holidays, he comes to my home,” he said. He added that Ssemakula normally works and serves people at his restaurant Papaz Spot.
“I am a father of many; I am a father of many. That’s why whenever you ask me questions about how many children I have, I tell you that I have children,” Mesach responded during the interview.
“I have many children who call me Daddy; I am a parental figure everywhere. According to me, he is my son,” the 46-year-old musician emphasized.
Mesach also noted that Travis Mutyaba, Evelyn’s son’s father, is his younger brother. He advised those making the allegations to look for something else to do if they want to spread negativity to outweigh the positives about him.
